Having advised businesses on image, issues, relationships and reputation for nearly 10 years, Danny has firmly established himself as a public relations and communications leader.
He has developed communication strategies and executed numerous campaigns for a number of leading businesses including, Telefónica, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, O2, Wayra, INTO University Partnerships and the London School of Economics.
The majority of his years have been spent within the technology start-up ecosystem where Danny has provided PR counsel and created communications campaigns for many early-stage businesses.
Danny actively mentored up to 100+ start-ups during his time at Wayra and as a speciality has helped some of the UK’s most innovative organisations amplify their own start-up acceleration programmes.
These include the launch and sustained amplification of programmes funded by ASOS the global online retailer, MSD, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and GCHQ, an intelligence and security organisation of the United Kingdom.
At present, Danny is working to re-establish Ve Global (formerly Ve Interactive) as a flagship of the British tech ecosystem. After being bought out of administration, Danny helped navigate the business through a management buyout, a global rebrand and following a £15million investment is developing a B2B PR strategy across 18 markets.
Danny’s passion for politics has helped him support the public affairs activities of many businesses. Danny has worked alongside COADEC, Tech City UK, Tech London Advocates, and many others, to influence decision-makers on a number of policy areas including diversity, the Government’s digital strategy and GDPR compliance.
Away from his work, Danny ran a social enterprise for 6 years which looked at ways to decrease political apathy and heighten political literacy among young people. This developed into a national campaign backed by O2, Amnesty and the Citizenship Foundation, which helped u-turn a decision to make Citizenship non-statutory in British secondary schools.
More recently Danny combined his passion for social change and tech start-ups by co-presenting ‘Trailblazers’, a YouTube series aimed at millennials and technologists. The series has accumulated over 2million views to-date.
